My Story
I'm Rob. Before weddings I spent ten years in video journalism, covering everything from horse racing to bushfires. None of it could be staged, and none of it happened twice. That's where I learned to stay out of the way and wait.
That's still how I shoot. You won't be directed all day. I'll step in when it helps and step back when it doesn't, and what you get back is the day as it happened: your grandmother refusing to sit down, someone's kid wandering down the aisle mid-ceremony, the ten minutes the two of you got alone together before dinner.
I live in Sydney with my wife. Most weekends we're somewhere between Maroubra and La Perouse, usually on foot.
